Morning jungle activities (jeep/elephant safari), then drive to Lumbini (155km/4-5hrs).
03Lumbini Sightseeing & Transfer to PokharaPokhara+
Visit Maya Devi Temple, Biswa Shanti Deep, Ashoka Pillar and monasteries, then drive to Pokhara (200km/7hrs).
04Sarangkot Sunrise, Pokhara Sightseeing & Permit PreparationPokhara+
Sunrise at Sarangkot; visit Bindabasini Temple, Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Fewa Lake and Tal Barahi Temple. Prepare Muktinath Yatra permit. Evening walk at Lakeside.
05Pokhara to Marpha/JomsomJomsom+
Scenic drive past the Nilgiri Himal, a natural hot spring, Rupse Falls and apple orchards along the Kali Gandaki River (200km). Overnight at Marpha village/Jomsom.
06Muktinath Darshan via KagbeniMuktinath+
Pitra Tarpan rituals at Kagbeni on the Kali Gandaki river, then darshan of Lord Shaligram at Muktinath Temple. Return to Pokhara (200km).
07Pokhara to Kathmandu via ManakamanaKathmandu+
Drive to Kathmandu (200km/7hrs) with a stop at Manakamana Devi Temple.
08Kathmandu SightseeingKathmandu+
Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Guheshwari Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Budhanilkantha and Swayambhunath. Evening free for shopping/casino.
09Narayanhiti Palace, Sanga, Bhaktapur & Nagarkot SunsetNagarkot+
Visit Narayanhiti Royal Palace Museum, the Sanga giant Shiva statue and historic Bhaktapur, followed by sunset at Nagarkot.
10Kathmandu to JanakpurJanakpur+
Drive to Janakpur (230km/7hrs). Check in hotel, overnight stay.
11Janakpur to RaxaulRaxaul+
Visit Janaki Temple and the Ram-Sita Bibhah Mandap, then transfer to Raxaul station (165km/4hrs).
