An extended circuit adding Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, to the classic wildlife, lakes, mountains and heritage journey through Nepal.
Day-by-day Itinerary
01Arrival at Raxaul & Transfer to ChitwanChitwan+
Pickup at Raxaul station, fresh up at Birgunj/Raxaul hotel, then drive to Chitwan (135km/3hrs). Evening Tharu cultural dance.
02Chitwan Safari & Transfer to LumbiniLumbini+
Morning jungle activities (jeep/elephant safari), then drive to Lumbini (155km/4-5hrs).
03Lumbini Sightseeing & Transfer to PokharaPokhara+
Visit Maya Devi Temple, Biswa Shanti Deep, Ashoka Pillar and nearby monasteries, then drive to Pokhara (200km/7hrs).
04Sarangkot Sunrise & Pokhara SightseeingPokhara+
Sunrise at Sarangkot, then visit Bindabasini Temple, Seti River, Zonal Museum, Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, Fewa Lake and Tal Barahi Temple.
05Pokhara to Kathmandu via ManakamanaKathmandu+
Drive to Kathmandu (200km/7hrs) with a stop at Manakamana Devi Temple.
06Kathmandu SightseeingKathmandu+
Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Guheshwari Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Budhanilkantha and Swayambhunath. Evening free for shopping/casino.
07Narayanhiti Palace, Sanga, Bhaktapur & Nagarkot SunsetNagarkot+
Visit Narayanhiti Royal Palace Museum, the Sanga giant Shiva statue and historic Bhaktapur, followed by sunset at Nagarkot.
08Kathmandu to Birgunj/RaxaulRaxaul+
Drive to Birgunj/Raxaul (155-195km). Check in hotel, overnight stay.
09DepartureRaxaul+
After breakfast, transfer to Raxaul railway station.
